1.
Walk with me and you will see There are still many things to learn Walk with me and you will see There are still many things to learn There are still There are still There are still There are still Many things to learn How does it feel Talking it through And not knowing what To say or do Just take yourself Outta your shoes It never is all about you Walk with me and you will see There are still many things to learn Walk with me and you will see There are still many things to learn There are still There are still There are still There are still Many things to learn How does it feel Talking it through And not knowing what To say or do Just take yourself Outta your shoes It never is all about you

Now And Here 03:06
Let it be Too much on my mind Step away Too much on my mind Float with me awhile Let our destiny be now And here Keep it still Too much on your mind Be aware Too much on your mind Float with me awhile Let us destiny be now And here
3.
Here in the streetlight away There’ll be no room to stay It keeps you lying awake Over a moonlit parade Under a spell I remain Only to find you again Whether it shows or it fades I owe my whole life away For every last breath that you take Out of the cold I awake Under your spell I remain Only to see you today If I could no longer wait If I could feel your embrace Under your stars I await To keep on calling your name
4.
From A Place 06:15
If I pulled up to the road side To see all of the things that I missed Along the way And something sticks to the minds eye Pure as the moment it came Clear as day If you came closer to remember The only thing that made you want to stay Oooh Under siege I have fallen Down to the last wire Is the light ever gonna be If our situation Could be lifted To a world I cannot hear but yet I see Here from this moment which is calling From a place I cannot see but yet I feel Knows me Oooh…
5.
A Thing 04:07
From where you came to where I go The line between begins to show Throughout everything we see We don’t understand a thing How long to go until you see Two steps away from history Throughout everything we mean We don’t understand a thing To lay somewhere and breath the air What would it take to lead you there Despite everything we read Sometimes we forget just to be
6.
What If 04:11
Ideas rising fast as they go But nothing changes if you don’t know What if I don’t feel it in your arms The soul is empty sometimes And what if I don’t see it in your eyes We keep on guessing The wind is howling outside the walls Arrested motion won’t let us fall What if I don’t feel it in your arms The soul is empty sometimes What if I don’t see it in your eyes We keep on guessing Ideas flying soft as white snow Impressions burning into the soul
7.
You are so mad Try to dissolve the sea of my soul You are so mad Try to dissolve the sea of my soul With the tables turned into The rays of another I had lunar surround the corners of my world And it goes And it goes I get up nowhere I give up nothing to see it I get up nowhere I give up nothing to see it A lady, the moon A lady, the moon Oooh… You are so mad Try to dissolve the sea of my soul With the tables turned into The heart of another
8.
Pictures 05:12
Pictures on the wall Telling me how fast it goes I won’t forget to keep Memories new and old It comes in slow motion When you least expect Like a cold running river That beats across the chest Someone came today Suddenly from far away Knowing who it was It could be, I couldn't say It comes in slow motion When you least expect Like a cold running river That beats across the chest You might recover the meaning But not the imagery The whole glass is shattered And yet plain to see Someone came today Kicking up the stones Careful what you say Anywhere you go (I couldn’t be there if you wanted I wouldn’t last another round It’s just another lost illusion That’ll bring us falling to the ground)

about

April 2021 sees the release of Jono McCleery’s new album Moonlit Parade – a deeply personal manifesto of raw poetry with a quietly self-contained sound.

Calm and sincere, with a restful voice and a focus on the essential, the music on Jono McCleery’s new album gets straight to the point, satisfying the listener with subtlety. The London-based singer and musician has deliberately adopted a no-frills approach on Moonlit Parade, successfully capturing what most people probably feel has been taken away from them by the 2020/2021 pandemic: a sense of closeness. Allowing someone to be close to you first of all means trusting them, and Jono trusts the music. He doesn’t need to ask anything of it, nor force it in any way. He doesn’t have to disguise it, he doesn’t have to distort it. And everything has gone to plan: the music is there and it gets under your skin
