Walk With Me - an idea sparked by the 'black lives matter' movement, which instils a notion that applies to everyone, a reminder to always try and understand how things are / have been, for others
lyrics
Walk with me and you will see
There are still many things to learn
Walk with me and you will see
There are still many things to learn
There are still
There are still
There are still
There are still
Many things to learn
How does it feel
Talking it through
And not knowing what
To say or do
Just take yourself
Outta your shoes
It never is all about you
Walk with me and you will see
There are still many things to learn
Walk with me and you will see
There are still many things to learn
There are still
There are still
There are still
There are still
Many things to learn
How does it feel
Talking it through
And not knowing what
To say or do
Just take yourself
Outta your shoes
It never is all about you

Gorgeous minimalist arrangements and one of the most beautiful and moving voices I've ever heard. Lady Blackbird brings a Monk-like ability to get right into your guts and start rooting around. brussb
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
I normally only listen to electronic music, but after listening to this album months ago I found it kept calling out to me. Now after purchasing it I can see why. I am totally addicted to its beauty and harmony. Thank you so much for the wax version, as it is the only form of music I collect. kaosskid
Oakland singer-songwriter honors her Haitian heritage with five R&B spirituals overflowing with radiance, fueled by her soft, angelic voice. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 22, 2022
Lalin St Juste’s atmospheric R&B songs are as gentle as a spring breeze and as mysterious as a far-off galaxy—engrossing and bewitching. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2021
